Susanne received her law degree from the University of Windsor in 2001 and was called to the bar in 2002. During her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, she specialized in Sociology and majored in Criminology. While working towards her degree, Susanne had the unique opportunity to supervise and counsel young offenders and adult female inmates, during which she regularly mediated disputes and implemented conflict resolution strategies.
She graduated from the University of Toronto in 1998 with honorary recognition.
At present, Susanne practises in all areas of insurance defence litigation, including municipal and professional liability, with a particular emphasis on dental malpractice.
She appears regularly in the Superior Court of Justice and has also appeared in Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal.
Susanne is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers, The Advocates' Society and the DRI Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute.
Additionally, she has been a member of the Insurance Section of the Ontario Bar Association since 2008. She currently sits on the executive as Program Co-ordinator.
