Stuart has practised law for more than 40 years
since graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School.
He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1980 and has
acted as counsel in over 200 trials. Stuart’s current
focus is in the area of municipal liability and dental
malpractice claims. He is a member of the Advocates’
Society, the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations and
the Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers’ Association. Stuart
acted as a mediator for Canadian Dispute Resolution
from 1989 to 1992. He was a member of the Private
Court - Personal Injury Panel from 1991 to 1998 and a
Director of The Advocates’ Society from 1990 to 1993.
