Mark articled with Forbes Chochla LLP in 2008/2009,
and returned to the firm upon being called to the Bar
in June 2009.
Prior to joining Forbes Chochla LLP, Mark obtained his law degree from the
University of Western Ontario. While a law student, Mark was heavily involved
with the Community Legal Services legal aid clinic, acting as a Supervisor
from 2006 to 2008. Mark also participated extensively in mooting, including
being a member of the Kawaskimhon Aboriginal Law Moot Team in 2007, the winner
of the Cherniak Cup for Trial Advocacy in 2007, and acting as a member of the
Arnup Cup Trial Advocacy Moot Team in 2008. Mark was also awarded the 2008
Cassels Brock & Blackwell Centennial Award in Practice Skills. Mark also holds
a B.A. (Hons) in History from the University of Western Ontario, where he
graduated on the Deans Honour List.
Mark practices in all areas of civil defence litigation, with a focus on
municipal and professional liability.
Mark is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations.
